Rachel was born and raised in northern California but moved out to Cleveland, Ohio to attend Case Western Reserve University, where she has just finished her first year as a nursing student. She is passionate about exploring all areas of healthcare, which has led her to seek out a multitude of opportunities. Rachel has been involved with assisting an interdisciplinary team of university faculty in their goal to promote trust and equitable access to the Covid-19 vaccine in local communities, and is also involved with research within the school of nursing. Other than this, she also works at a cardiovascular ICU, caring for critically ill patients. Over this summer, Rachel is looking forward to interning with Hyr Medical and assisting with marketing.
